eInvit does three things in one place: it’s your invitation (the page guests open), your event webpage (the details, schedule, photos, and story), and your guest manager (who’s coming, who hasn’t replied, and how many to tell the caterer). One platform covers weddings, communions, nikah, sangeet, Tamil kalyanam, NRI destination events, corporate events, and 80+ celebration types across every major Indian community — Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Sikh, Interfaith, North Indian, South Indian, and International.
This guide covers everything: the five-minute path from a blank account to a live invitation, every tab and feature inside the editor, the full Guest Management Hub, day-of tools, Card Maker Studio, the Vendor Marketplace, the Budget Tracker, your account and plan settings, and the communities and event types eInvit supports.
Before you start
Have these ready before you begin — it makes every later step faster:
- The date, time, and venue (or venue name if you haven’t finalized the address) for each function
- A few photos of the couple, host, or celebration — even one or two is enough to start
- A rough guest list, even a messy one — names and phone numbers, or an existing spreadsheet you can import as CSV
- Any wording you’d like used (names, a short welcome message) — optional, you can also write this directly in the editor, or generate a draft with the AI Story Writer
Getting started: from zero to a live invitation
Create your account
Go to admin.einvit.in/register and sign up. Registration is a single screen — your account details and the full plan comparison sit side by side, so you can see every plan and its price before signing up. Choose Free if you don’t need a credit card yet, or pick a paid tier. If a wedding planner, photographer, or venue gave you a coupon code, enter it here for an instant percentage discount, applied before you pay.
Answer the 4-step event wizard
Immediately after registering you’re guided through four quick steps:
- Community — Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Sikh, Interfaith, North Indian, South Indian, International, or Other
- Event type — over 60 options: Wedding, Nikah, Muhurtham, Sangeet, Tamil Kalyanam, Baptism, First Communion, Birthday, Graduation, NRI Wedding, Destination Wedding, and many more
- Names — couple or host names, supporting Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and English scripts
- Date, time, venue, and location
Pick a template
Browse the digital invitation themes, pre-filtered to your community and event type. Each theme has its own colour palette, font pairing, and layout tuned for that community’s style. Preview any theme before committing, and switch templates at any time later without losing your content.
Customise your invitation in the editor
Your event opens into a six-tab editor:
- Design — switch template, adjust theme colours and fonts
- Content — your story, sub-events, timelines, wedding party, vendor credits, gift registry, video, and more
- Guests — add guests manually or import a CSV; send invites and manage responses
- Media — upload photos and background music
- Analytics — page visits and response statistics
- Settings — public visibility, guestbook, search-engine privacy, and page exports
Everything autosaves as you go, and your public page updates the moment you save. Every tab is covered in full detail later in this guide.
Share and celebrate
Copy your unique link (for example einvit.in/w/your-name-2026) and share it via WhatsApp, Facebook, or any messaging app. Guest responses appear in your dashboard in real time as they come in — no follow-up phone calls needed.
The Content tab: your story & details
Every section below is optional — fill in only what applies to your celebration. Anything left empty simply doesn’t render on your public page.
Our Story & the AI Story Writer
Stuck on what to write? Tap the ✨ AI Write button next to the “Our Story” or “About” field. For couple events, pick how you met and a tone; for single-person events and housewarmings, pick a focus (faith, achievement, family joy, new beginning) and a tone. Three distinct drafts appear instantly, generated on-device from curated phrase banks — no AI subscription, no extra cost. Choose one, tweak the wording, and it drops straight into your Story field.
Sub-Events & the Multi-Event Timeline
List every ceremony — betrothal, mehendi, sangeet, haldi, the main ceremony, reception — and guests see them all in one auto-sorted timeline, ordered by date and time. For multi-day, multi-function celebrations, mark the auspicious time (muhurtham) per ceremony and let guests respond function-by-function instead of once for the whole event, so you know exactly who is coming to which function.
Livestream Embed
Paste a YouTube, Facebook, Zoom, or custom stream link into the Content tab. It plays directly on your Story Page so guests who can’t attend in person can still watch the ceremony live — no separate app or link needed.
Live Day-of Update
Find the 📣 Live Update field in the Content tab. Type a message (up to 280 characters) and save — it appears instantly as a pulsing banner at the top of the Story Page, with a friendly relative timestamp (“just now”, “5m ago”). Clear the text after the event and save, and the banner disappears automatically.
“How We Met” Interactive Timeline
Scroll to the 💕 Love Story Timeline section and click + Add Milestone. Each milestone has an emoji, a date, a title, and a short description. Milestones render as a beautiful alternating left-right scrolling timeline on your Story Page, with a reveal-on-scroll animation.
Event Day Timeline
A detailed run-of-show for the day itself — arrival, ceremony, reception, after-party — available for every event type, not only weddings. Each item has an optional Section label, a Time, a required Title, and an optional Description. For weddings, three quick-add buttons pre-fill common sections (Ceremony, Reception, After Party). Give two items the same Section label to group them under one heading, or leave Section blank for a simple flowing list.
Wedding Party Section
Available only when the event type is set to Wedding. Fill in Parents of the Groom, Parents of the Bride, Best Man, and Maid of Honor as simple optional text fields, then add as many names as you like to Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Flower Girls, and Ring Bearers. Bridesmaids and groomsmen are paired side by side in the order entered. The section renders as a polished two-column card, and simply doesn’t appear if left empty.
Vendor Credits
Add as many vendor entries as you like — photographer, videographer, caterer, decorator, florist, bridal makeup, groom’s wear, jewellery, venue, entertainment — each with a name, role/category, Instagram handle, and website URL. Vendor credits display as a polished card grid, giving vendors genuine organic backlinks that many actively appreciate and request.
Digital Gift Registry & Wish List
Link an external registry (Amazon, Honeyfund, YourStory.in, or your own page), add individual gift items with names, notes, and product links, or use both together. If both are left empty, the Gift Registry section is hidden entirely — no awkward empty sections.
Background Reel & Personal Video Invitation
Upload a pre-wedding reel to Cloudinary (MP4, H.264, ideally under 20 MB) and paste the URL into the 🎬 Hero Background Video field — it loops, autoplays muted, behind your Story Page hero section. Separately, where your plan enables it, record or upload a short 10-second Personal Video Invitation that plays right after the countdown — uploading a new clip simply replaces the previous one, with no rendering wait.
AI-Suggested Welcome Message & AI Highlight Reel
Generate an instant, free welcome-message draft from a curated phrase bank at no extra cost. On the Ultimate plan, an AI Highlight Reel automatically turns your approved gallery photos into a short highlight video.
The Guest Management Hub
All guest communication lives in one place — the Guest Management Hub, reachable from your admin sidebar (it also mirrors into the Guests tab inside each event editor). It has seven sub-tabs: Guest List, WhatsApp Invites, Reminder Blast, Email Invitations, Check-In, Live Updates, and Guestbook. A live guest-response snapshot stays visible above all seven tabs at all times.
Guest List
Add guests manually (name, phone, email) or upload a CSV file in bulk. The list shows a dedicated WhatsApp and Email status column per guest — a badge (Sent / Not sent / No phone / No email) plus a one-tap Send/Resend button per channel, with a filter for exactly who still needs a nudge on a given channel.
WhatsApp Invitation Delivery (Guided Send)
Available on Basic plan and above — uses free wa.me links, no paid WhatsApp Business API. From the Guests or Responses tab, choose WhatsApp All. Each guest’s personalised message is prepared automatically; for each guest, tap Open to launch WhatsApp with the message pre-filled, tap Send, then tap Next. wa.me links need a real tap to send, so this guided flow walks you through your whole list without missing anyone. Guests tap their unique link and confirm in their browser — no login, no app.
Personalised WhatsApp Invites (Custom Template)
In the Guests tab, choose ✏️ Personalised Send to write your own message template. Use {name} and {invite_url} placeholders — eInvit generates a pre-filled wa.me link per guest with their name and unique link already inserted. Example: “Dear {name}, you are cordially invited to our wedding! Please confirm your attendance: {invite_url}”
WhatsApp Reminder Blast
One click auto-loads every guest who received an invite but hasn’t responded yet — no manual list-building. A gentle, pre-written reminder is generated per guest, and a Resend toggle also includes guests you’ve already reminded once, useful in the final 24 hours before the event.
Bulk Email Invites
Make sure each guest’s email is on file (manually or via CSV), then choose Email All from the Guests or Responses tab — eInvit sends in batches of 50, with each guest’s delivery timestamp tracked in the guest list.
Guest Responses Dashboard
A top-level Responses page in your sidebar — pick any published event to see every guest’s response in one table: name, contact, category, status, headcount, dietary notes, message, and response date. Stat cards show Total Invited, Attending, Declined, Maybe, Pending, and Response Rate. Search, filter by status, follow up right from the table, and export the full list as a CSV to share with your caterer or coordinator.
Guest Arrival Check-In
Open einvit.in/check-in/your-slug on your phone or tablet at the venue entrance and log in with your admin credentials. Search any guest by name and tap ✓ Arrived to check them in — the arrival time is recorded automatically. Use + Add Walk-In for guests not on the list, and watch the animated progress bar track arrivals versus expected total in real time. Multiple volunteers can check guests in simultaneously from different phones without creating duplicate records.
Digital Guestbook
Any visitor can leave a heartfelt message — no login required — with emoji reactions appearing live as messages roll in. You review and approve every message from your dashboard before it appears publicly.
Media tab: photos & music
All media is stored on Cloudinary’s global CDN for fast loading anywhere in the world.
- Upload photos — drag and drop JPEG, PNG, or WebP files, up to 10 MB each
- Arrange your gallery — reorder by dragging; guests see a masonry layout with a full-screen lightbox viewer
- Add background music — upload an MP3 to set the mood; guests can mute it any time
Analytics tab
Available on Basic plan and above — know your invitation’s reach before the event day.
- Page views — total views, unique visitors, and a daily chart showing when traffic peaked
- Device breakdown — the percentage of guests viewing on mobile versus desktop
- Guest response summary — attending / not attending / maybe percentages, total confirmed headcount, and meal preference totals
Settings tab
- Public visibility — turn your invitation page on or off without deleting it
- Search engine visibility toggle — on by default so guests can find your page via Google, kept visually separate from feature toggles since it’s a privacy decision, not a product feature. Switch it off any time to remove your page from search results and the public sitemap
- Guestbook & music player — turn either on or off independently of the rest of the page
- Save the Date toggle — the /save mini-page is on by default; turn it off to have the /save URL redirect straight to your main page
- Download Invitation Pages — export your wedding invitation page or love-story page as a fully self-contained, branded HTML file
Save the Date, QR codes & day-of tools
Save the Date Mini-Page
Every invitation automatically includes a dedicated page at /w/[slug]/save — a focused single screen guests can bookmark before your full invitation is ready, showing couple names, event date, venue, and a live countdown. A prominent Add to Calendar button downloads an ICS file that opens directly in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or Samsung Calendar. This same one-tap behaviour, plus automated email reminders sent 7 days and 1 day before each ceremony, is available for every sub-event once guests have responded.
Invite QR Code
Every invitation automatically gets a QR code linking directly to your live invitation URL. Download it as a high-resolution branded PNG from the Settings tab, then print it on physical cards, venue banners, table cards, or programme booklets — guests scan once and land on the live invitation instantly.
Day-of Coordination Hub
A private task checklist and vendor contact book inside your event editor, so you and your family can stay organised and reach vendors quickly on the wedding day itself. Never shown to guests.
UPI Gift Money QR
Guests scan a QR code on your invitation and pay you directly via any UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and more. No payment gateway, no commission — the money goes straight to your UPI handle.
Card Maker Studio: printable cards
Want a printable card alongside your digital invitation? Card Maker Studio lets you browse designed templates, fill in your details, and download a print-ready Word (DOCX) card at no extra charge.
- From your admin sidebar, click 🖨️ Card Maker Studio — or browse the public gallery at einvit.in/card-studio without logging in
- Browse 230 templates across 16 categories — Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Sikh, Modern, Royal, Floral, Engagement, Birthday, Anniversary, Destination, Corporate, Graphic, and CV Style — or use tag search to filter by style
- Anyone can preview all 230 templates without an account; creating a free account unlocks downloading — Free & Basic: 121 templates, Premium: 191, Premium+: 206, Ultimate: all 230
- Fill in 18 fields — names, ceremony details, priest name, venue, reception details, RSVP deadline, dress code, hashtag — the preview updates live as you type
- Click Download to generate a formatted Word document, ready to print or share as a PDF
Vendor Marketplace
Browse photographers, caterers, decorators, and other wedding vendors directly inside eInvit, and request quotes without needing to search elsewhere.
Budgeting & Expense Tracker
Set a target, plan it out by category, and log every expense as you go — entirely private to you, never shown to guests. Reachable as a tab inside your event editor, or directly from the 💰 Budget link in the admin sidebar.
- Overall target budget — one overall number for the event, a reference point for every category underneath it
- Category envelopes — Venue, Catering, Photography, Decor, each with its own planned amount
- Partial-payment tracking — log an advance when you pay a vendor, then top up the same expense when you settle the balance later, so the category total always reflects what’s actually been paid
Account, plans & checkout
Registration & Plan Selection
Registration is a single screen: account details and the full plan comparison side by side, so you can compare features and pricing, apply a coupon, and pay, all in one flow — before your account even exists.
| Plan | Events | Guests | Photos | Templates | Page live for | Headline extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | — | 2 | 3 | 8 days | Online guest response, guestbook |
| Basic | 1 | 100 | 10 | 10 | 365 days | WhatsApp invites, analytics |
| Premium | 2 | 300 | 15 | All | 545 days | Per-event guest response |
| Premium+ | 3 | 600 | 20 | All | 730 days | Video support, live streaming |
| Ultimate | 8 | 2,000 | 25 | All | 730 days | Custom domain, AI highlight reel |
All paid plans are billed through Razorpay — UPI, NetBanking, and cards accepted. Every published event includes online guest response and guestbook.
Discount Coupons
- eInvit partners with event planners, wedding photographers, and venues across Kerala and India, who issue coupon codes to their clients
- Enter your coupon code at registration, or on your Account page when upgrading a plan — the discount applies instantly, before payment
- Coupons are percentage-based — for example, a 20% coupon on a ₹999 plan saves ₹200, bringing it to ₹799
International Checkout (Multi-Currency)
Visitors outside India see plan prices converted to their own currency for reference. At checkout, where supported, card payments can be charged directly in the visitor’s own currency rather than only in INR, removing any estimate-versus-actual mismatch at payment time. Foreign-currency charging currently applies to card payments; netbanking and international wire transfers are not supported for non-INR orders.
Feature Add-ons
Beyond your plan tier, individual advanced features can also be unlocked for a single event directly, priced and activated per feature — useful if you only need one extra capability without upgrading your whole plan. Where enabled, this appears as an Add-ons tab in your event editor or account area.
Unified Plan & Page Expiry
Your plan subscription and your invitation page share exactly one expiry date — your purchase date plus your plan’s duration. When the plan expires, the page expires. One date, no confusion, and you’ll receive expiry reminder emails in advance.
Communities & event types
eInvit has dedicated templates, terminology, and field labels for every community it supports — over 80 event types, 104 digital invitation themes, and 230 printable card designs.

Privacy & security
Search engine visibility toggle
On by default so guests can find your page via Google — switch it off any time from Settings to remove your page from search results and the public sitemap.
No artificial guest restrictions
eInvit pages don’t block right-click, copying, or printing — guests can save a venue address, print directions, or screenshot a detail to share, because the invitation is meant to be used.
Account security
Passwords are protected with PBKDF2 hashing, sessions use HMAC-signed JWTs, and Razorpay payments are verified with HMAC webhook signatures, all on Cloudflare’s edge security network.
A registered Indian business
eInvit is operated by Tony Augustine Labs (TAL), a Udyam/MSME-registered enterprise (UDYAM-KL-07-0064885, Micro Enterprise, Services) based in Kerala, India, founded in 2024. The einvit.in domain is Trustpilot-verified.
Full details are available in the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Refund Policy, linked in the footer of every page on einvit.in.
Tips for a smooth experience
- Use your native script for names — entering names in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu script makes the invitation feel warm and personal; every script renders beautifully on every device
- Upload a photo early — invitations with a couple or event photo tend to get noticeably more guestbook messages
- Add every sub-event to the timeline — guests appreciate having everything in one place, and the timeline auto-sorts by date and time
- Send WhatsApp invites two weeks ahead — guests respond faster with a personalised message sent early; a second reminder about three days before works well for stragglers, and the system prevents sending the same guest twice
- Check your live page on a phone — after creating your invitation, open the public link on your own phone and scroll through the whole page, exactly how most guests will see it
- Choose the correct event type — the right community and event type unlocks community-specific templates, correct terminology, and event-specific designs
Frequently asked questions
Do I need any technical skills to use eInvit?
No — every step is done by filling in forms and clicking buttons in the dashboard, the same as using any regular app or website. No coding or design experience is needed.
How long does it take to create a basic invitation?
A simple, single-event invitation with a name, date, venue, and a couple of photos can be ready in about 15–20 minutes. Adding a full guest list, multiple functions, and extras like a gallery or story takes longer, but you can build it up over several sessions.
Can I edit my invitation after I've already shared it?
Yes — the same link stays live, so you can fix a typo, update a venue, or add a new photo at any time, and guests who open the link afterward will see the update.
What if a guest doesn't have WhatsApp?
You can send their invitation by email instead, or share the general link with them through any channel you prefer — the invitation itself is just a normal web page.
Is WhatsApp delivery really free?
Yes. eInvit uses free wa.me click-to-chat links rather than the paid WhatsApp Business API — there is nothing to configure or approve.
How many events can I run on one account?
It depends on your plan — Free and Basic support 1 event, Premium supports 2, Premium+ supports 3, and Ultimate supports up to 8, each with its own editor, guest list, and analytics.
What happens when my plan expires?
Your invitation page expiry is tied to the same date as your plan — you'll receive reminder emails in advance, and can renew or upgrade from your Account page at any time before or after.
Can guests print or screenshot the invitation?
Yes — eInvit pages never block right-click, copying, printing, or screenshotting, so guests can save details or share them freely.
Is there a limit to how many guests I can add?
Free and paid plans have different guest limits — check the pricing page for current limits at each tier.
Can I try it without paying first?
Yes — you can create an account and build your invitation for free before deciding whether to upgrade for a larger guest list or additional features.
